Mr. Maginnis concentrates his practice in professional liability, product liability including medical device matters, property subrogation, insurance coverage, and admiralty litigation. He has also represented warehouseman, stevedores, truckers, vessel owners and cargo interests in property subrogation matters.

He graduated from Georgetown University in 1973 and from Villanova University School of
Law in 1976. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable James McDermott of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He was also a senior partner at Cozen & O'Connor and chairman of its defense casualty practice.

He was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 1976. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute, the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) and a Proctor in the Maritime Law Association.
