Mr. Cavanaugh is a shareholder in the firm and concentrates his practice in professional negligence, products liability, premises liability and property subrogation.

He graduated from Villanova University in 1980 and from the Delaware Law School of Widener University in 1985. He was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 1985. He was a law clerk for the Honorable Charles A. Lord in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia before embarking on a 10 year career with Raynes, McCarty, Binder, Ross and Mundy. He has coordinated, written and spoken frequently in a variety of litigation topics in the Philadelphia area in matters including personal injury and professional negligence. He has been a coordinator and regular participant in the Philadelphia Bar Associations Legal Line Services to the citizens of Philadelphia, a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Civil Litigation Committee, a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association Medical Malpractice Committee, a member of the Labor Employment Committee of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Brehon Law Society and many other social and civic organizations.

Mr. Cavanuagh is the recent President of the Alumni Board of St. Joseph's Preparatory School, an executive member of the Law Alumni Group and class chair of the Capital Campaign for St. Joseph's Preparatory School.
