At Dugan, Brinkmann, Maginnis and Pace, our attorneys and staff play active roles in the neighborhoods where we live and work.

Through pro bono legal services, financial contributions and participation in an array of community and non-profit organizations we support programs that strengthen and build better communities.

Some of the activities and community service
organizations we serve include:

Support Center for Child Advocacy
We are actively involved in the Support Center for Child Advocacy, a non-profit organization here in Philadelphia providing legal and social services to children at risk.
Community to Benefit the Children
Lead sponsor of "Caribbean Sunsplash 2006" for the Committee to Benefit the Children whose fund raising efforts directly benefit the juvenile oncology department at St. Christopher’s Hospital.

Servants of the Poor
Board of Directors – Servants of the Poor, an organization devoted to providing a variety of services to the homeless population here in Philadelphia.
Rebuilding Together
Our attorneys are founding members of the board of directors for the Gloucester County NJ chapter of Rebuilding Together. This organization serves the community by rehabbing existing homes for the elderly, infirmed or indigent.

Ronald McDonald House
Gene Maginnis and Jack Brinkmann rowed in the St. Christopher's Children's Hospital Oncology Department’s boat and won the hospital challenge in the annual Dragon Boat races on the Schuylkill river. The $24,000 raised went to the Ronald McDonald House being built at St. Christopher's Hospital. The building broke ground in early November 2006 and is scheduled to be completed by next Thanksgiving.
Cystic Fibrosis
Since its inception DBMP has been a sponsor of The Narberth CF "run for a child's dream" Run. The Narberth Run was created to fulfill the wishes and dreams of children living with CF. Each year, with the advice of a group of doctors and a social worker at a local CF center, a child is recommended to us to have a dream fulfilled.
