On September 2, 2013, Labor Day, Dugan, Brinkmann, Maginnis & Pace (“DBMP”) was hired by a major insurance carrier to investigate subrogation in a massive fire that would completely destroy a 9-year old 266,000 square foot refrigerated warehouse. The fire started on September 1st and received extensive local news coverage. Our client ultimately paid its insured over $147 million.

Samuel Pace Announced as Speaker for the 2016 CLM Southwest Conference

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: (October 17, 2016)- The Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) is pleased to announced Samuel Pace, Attorney, will be speaking on "Show Me the Money - Best Practices in ADR for Large Loss Property Subrogation and Recovery." This summit will be held on November 3-4 at the Westin Dallas Downtown in Dallas, TX.

Mr. Pace's practice consists of major property subrogation matters, complex recovery litigation, litigation arising from catastrophic losses, injuries, and professional liability. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University School of Law. He was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 1979 and has handled cases in at least 23 states and the District of Columbia. He is a former Board Member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), and a member of Loss Executives Association (LEA) and FDCC (former vice chair of Property Section). He is a Fellow, International Society of Barristers, Master, Temple American Inn of Court, member of ADTA and CLM (Subrogation Committee), and has lectured on trial practice, handling major claims , mediation and various other topics for NASP, PLRB, Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Philadelphia Bar Association, National Institute of Trial Advocacy, Temple School of Law and Widener University Law School. He serves as a Judge ProTem of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and is an experienced mediator. He has testified as an expert before various Courts and in Mediations and Arbitrations. He is a member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and of the Property Committee of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association.

Dugan Brinkmann Maginnis and Pace was a Gold Sponsor for the 22nd Annual Gloucester County Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on December 5, 2013.  The featured speaker was Fox News Reporter Kelly Wright.  The Prayer Breakfast is an


annual gathering of political, business and community leaders to pray for national and local leaders.  New Jersey partner Randy Greene, serves on the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast planning  committee Pictured with Kelly Wright is partner Randy Greene and his wife Justine.




Dugan Brinkmann Maginnis and Pace co-sponsored the 2012 Gloucester County Father Daughter Ball at Adelphia's in Deptford Township, NJ. The Ball raised money for Women At Risk, International (WAR, Int'l) which has as its mission to unite and educate women and children in areas of human trafficking and sexual slavery.


WAR, Int'l now reaches 14 different risks including domestic violence, depression, loss, disease, exploitation, and more. It's goal is to create circles of protection and hope around women and children at risk through culturally sensitive, value-added intervention projects. Escorting DBMP's resident NJ partner, Randy Greene, was his daughter Carolyn and his granddaughter Audree.

The LBBC is dedicated to empowering women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life. This organization is different than many other breast cancer organizations with which you may be familiar, because the main focus of LBBC is on individuals rather than on research or awareness.

NASP_logo.gifSam Pace was the chairperson for the 2007 National Conference of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals

The conference brought together over 1,100 people who work in the field of Subrogation for the purpose of sharing knowledge and techniques in subrogation and recovery matters.

In addition, Jack Brinkmann and Jim Valentine of James F. Valentine & Associates delivered a presentation entitled: "When Fire Protection Systems Fail: An Overview." Sam Pace participated in a panel discussion on Mediation in large subrogation matters. Also in attendance from DBMP was, Gene Maginnis.

NASP raised over $13,500 for a local charity called Phoenix New Orleans and the firm made a significant contribution.
